WHAT CAUSE ?

It is sad that this post comes immediately after my last post 'LOVE'
Those who are responsible for the bomb blast in Bombay and such terrorists all over the world are religious people with some cause. Perhaps they read in their holy scriptures every day that it is God who has the right to give or take away life.

God or no God
Is any cause worth a human life ?
Believe me they have no right to call themselves humans. I would not call them animals as they don't deserve a place in the beautiful world of animals as well.

  7. Such acts will happen again Sangita, as a nation we are a relaxed bunch of people, we don't live in a constant state of fear and panic. I am proud of it. Today Bombay is back to normal. That defeats the purpose for which such evil acts were committed. they have failed miserably.

  8. Rauf, We are living in an age of great wonder and joy but also great sorrow. It is difficult to imagine why the violence perpetrated upon innocent victims in many parts of the globe could possibly be a solution to real or perceived problems. Diplomacy and negotiation seems to be solutions of the past.

  9. I was proud that people were back on the train next day; "don't let them stop normal life" citizens of Bombay are saying. But terrorists HAVE stopped life for so many, and their families and friends suffer today. For what? You are right, there is no helpful result, even according to their misguided goals. It isn't working!

I love this photo, and ironically it brings back memories of scriptures about sheep and goats. But these animals are beautiful and part of a greater intelligence.

I grieve with you, Rauf, over the senseless deaths and injuries of your country-folk and with Don (on your blog) am sending loving, healing thoughts.

  10. My heart goes out to all the victims affected by this horrific incident. I will never understand why people can cause so much pain in a day.

It is also always sad to see innocent animals go through such pain and suffering without ever understanding why. You've captured such saddness in this photo, sadness and utter confusion.

  11. Each one of us wants to lead a happy life Kate, and we try for a happier tomorrow. I find it impossible to remain indifferent to such acts of terrorism in any part of the world. Terrorism has never helped any cause and it never will

  12. Thank you Ruth, India or any part of the world, such acts of violence hurt me. Its sad that people responsible go scot free as Indian police and other investigation agencies are very inefficient, they arrest some innocent people, not at all connected with the crime to satisfy the screaming media. People of Bombay are back to normal the very next day, this defeats the cause of terrorism. It will be forgotten in a week.

Yes animals live in harmony minding their own business Ruth.

  13. All over the world it is the innocent who suffer most Nancy, they have no clue why. We have such a vast majority of good people in the world who cannot stop evil done by so few.

thank you so much for your kind word Nancy, such acts affect all of us.

  14. i think it's more political than religious Poms; people wanting separate states; wanting their own rule and power, resorting to terrorism to cow down the government. My friend missed that train because he was 20 minutes early; he is from Canada, and was in Bombay for 3 months' training; he learnt that the police are grabbing anyone around ( heard there were more than 300 arrested ) and he just took a break and went to Hyderabad to his family. very sad indeed *hugs*

  15. Your friend is lucky Boo, Just thinking of those who were injured and those who lost their lives for somebody's thoughtless cause. And thinking of those who are arrested by the cops who may not be connected just to show to the media that they are working on it. the guilty walk away free as usual.
Bombay police is well known for its inefficiency
Ruby is coming home this evening Boo.
    love & hugs

  16. Terrible! I heard about it. And I thought I hope Rauf is not one of the victims.
We should ban religion or spirituality, if that's what we get from it.

  17. I am nearly 1000 kilometers away Imemine. Religion or no religion we'll have to deal with a handful of evil minded people always.

  18. Very sad that people kill & hurt other people to "accomplish" something in their mind. I don't understand how people can do this. :(
