Davo I make absolutely no attempt to become a saint. Every other guy I bump into is a saint or trying to become one. I have normal human emotions like love anger hatred jealousy greed, I blame myself for ruining a day otherwise all days are special, waking up alive itself is most special. If every day is beautiful I may die of monotony, perhaps kill myself. so 4 bad days and three good days make my life interesting and I can tell the difference what a fine day it is.

Lorraine, the picture of flower arrangement is becoming a part of the day in many households. It was done for a special day at my friend's house in Pollachi, there was a pooja, an offering to god. some believe that these flower arrangements radiate positive energy. Chinese believe in it too,
there are many names to it. They are arranged in a particular fashion. for me a bunch of flowers in a vase make me happy too.

rauf, are the colors significant? In Bali I was told that the colors of sunshine, yellows, golds, oranges - are holy....

I know that Balinese culture is officially Hindu, but quite equally influenced by native nature religions and Buddhism, so am never sure where the threads of belief come from.

Pretty arrangement. Are they floating in water? And what are the smaller thin white flowers?

Did you eat lots of good food, candy or both?

Reminds me of being at a chocolate store on saturday with my mom & sister. I was taking photos, not interested in eating the chocolate samples or buying anything-just taking photos. But, my mom & sister kept coming over to wherever I was & feeding me samples! They were all delicious. I loved this sugar-free melt-in-your-mouth peanut butter square. I was given 2 of those. Yum!

Now I'm getting hungry...

:)

Love to u2, Rauf!

Yes Hayden the colours do signify positive energies, that is the belief, I know nothing about it. Its getting very popular now, many new philosophies new gurus new swamis are emerging with new brew and falavour of same old ideas. a bit of vanilla ?? I am writing about vanilla in a couple of days Hayden.
I find Balinese Hinduism much more colourful, They have a very passive approach compared to Indian Hinduism, please correct me if I am wrong.
