THE POISON - GLOBALISATION

Photobucket

183 435
one hundred and eighty three thousand, yes you read it right.

183 435 farmers committed suicide in 6 years of globalisation.

This figure is till 2005. Figures are conflicting, these are official figures. you can safely multiply it by four. when a family of 4 commits suicide, it is counted as one farmer.
The actual figure would be staggering
74 suicides in January 2008 alone.

According to one report, Women, landless farmers and members of the Untouchable caste are not listed. Most of the farm hands are untouchables. When they die, they are not counted. They did not exist. They have no right to exist.

i am proud of my country, i would like to tell you how beautiful my country is and how nice the people are, this is something i should not be writing.
This is sad.

One farmer committed suicide in the hope of being reborn as a cow in England.
If you are a good farmer, you will be reborn as a cow, a mad cow.

This is the punishment for India not joining the war. The result is the same.
Death for American soldiers, who are not aware of what they are doing,
death for innocent civilians in the war and
death for those who refuse to join the game of killing bloodshed and greed.

Ask this boy struggling to keep his lunch box over his head and managing his buffalos.
Do you think he knows where Iraq is ?
He may not be even aware that there is a war going on somewhere.

Arms of Indian politicians are twisted to accept globalisation. The suicides of the farmers is a direct result of war, corporate greed and unfair trade practices.

These farmers don't even know what globalisation is. They are
not aware of the cause of their misery which is leading them to take their own lives.

The murderers are the American Multinationals.

Please read this carefully.
If you are an Indian YOU ARE A PEST.
You may be an elite, still you are a pest.
The West considers Indians other third World citizens as unwanted insects.
Please accept this as a fact.
Some decent people call the Third world as Developing nations.
Please read my post I HAVE NO RIGHT TO LIVE
India became a free country in 1947 and we are slowly marching back to slavery, allowing the giant multinationals to have total control on us.

The 'NEW WORLD ORDER' concept has been around since last century.

"a sovereign power that will make them the masters of all inferior beings"

It gathered momentum on 9/11. Globalisation is a part of the agenda.
President GW Bush is indeed an insignificant clown in the game. His dad is a complete believer in the NEW WORLD ORDER and he is not a clown like his son. Dreams of the father Bush matched with those of Hitler. Son Bush is just a harmless fool. You can ignore him. But the people behind him are the real criminals who are serious about the NEW WORLD ORDER.
Evil has always been very powerful.
Power is Evil.
Good never destroys Evil
Evil destroys itself or destroyed by a bigger Evil.

Our lands have been poisoned, and we are eating poison. Experiments are conducted on the Third world countries. Greedy politicians have allowed the giant multinationals to play around, experiment on unsuspecting citizens.
India is a giant laboratory for these greedy multi nationals.i think eating poison has made me stronger, i could be immune to other poisons, i may survive a biological war or a nuclear radiation. i have eaten so much of pesticides. Pesticide is my major food.

Photobucket

Photobucket

These Giant Multinationals are doing their best to change the eating habits of the Indians by dumping palm and soya oil along with GM food which is rejected by the Europeans.

The smile on the face would disappear when machines take over their job. Suicide is the only option open to them. Modernisation is another blow to the farmer and the farmhands.
Large chunks of land is bought by the local giants using modern faming methods, the farmhands just stand there and watch.
Our leaders have no clue about progress.
They are running towards New York.
Skyscrapers, shopping malls and roads full of cars is their dream and a vision of progress.

Photobucket

One machine throws hundred farm hands out of work. They can just stand and watch with wonder, End of smiles.
Next day is the day of suicide.

Photobucket

Do the giant American Multinationals really care about the mass suicides of the farmers ?
No

"Their(New WORLD ORDER) intention is to effect complete and total control over every human being on the planet and to dramatically reduce the world's population by 5.5 Billion people".

The entrire report is quite chilling. There are hundreds of sites,
please google NEW WORLD ORDER

"In this One World entity, population will be limited by restrictions on the number of children per family, diseases, wars, famines, until 1 billion people who are useful to the ruling class, in areas which will be strictly and clearly defined, remain as the total world population - There will be no middle class, only rulers and the servants"

What a dream it was in 1835, and the dream is still alive and becoming a reality now.

I sincerely apologise !
The above document appears to be a fake. i thought of removing it, i let it remain as there's a comment on it.

Politicians who act as the sidekicks of such Multinationals claim that the globalisation has helped reduce poverty. They give figures.
Quite true.
Because they are all dead. Murdered by the Multinationals.
If you are poor you better die. We don't want you.
Then they come up with figures, charts, graphs showing how globalisation has reduced poverty.

Poverty has only gone up, i see it everywhere during my travels.

They want to remove poverty by killing the farmer, farmhands and the poor, driving them to commit suicide.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Production and supply of food would be controlled by these criminal giants who will make you eat what they push. It is beginning in India. Local giants have emerged, who can be easily bought by the American giants. It is nearly impossible to remove
these road side vendors. But they will be cornered to commit suicides in the near future, to reduce poverty. And you will have fresh figures, charts, graphs splashed on TV and news papers showing how the level of poverty has come down.

OWEE she is smiling, poor thing, she is not aware of her future. This is raagi, a health grain, advised by doctors. Doesn't look very good on the plate but very tasty. i have it every day.
This grain would disappear when multinationals take over completely, or it will be genetically tampered.

We do not know how the food reaches our dining table.

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

Photobucket

The people who bring food to our dining table have no peace of mind.
Drought, praying for rain, floods, rain at the wrong time, they have to face too many problems.
They depend on the mercy of nature.
Nature on one side and greedy multinationals are on the other.
They are caught in between.
Not all farmers are lucky. Things go wrong. The only option open for them is suicide.
But we don't miss a meal. They die to keep us alive.

How long do you think these smiles would last ?

Another filmmaker is mrudered becuase he offended some religious rules ( you shouldn't do that!) but why ooh why are people playing the judge? we have NOT the right judge and also not to offend no-one ever never...who-ever that is in whatever rank or proffesion.

The human being has capacities beyond the imagination. The capacity to create and to destroy. The capacity to smile in the middle of a back-breaking work day. The capacity to create heaven on earth, the capacity to create hell on earth. The capacity to hope, and the capacity to despair. Only humans have all this power, as you’ve said here lots of times. We make these choices every day, but some of us are never given any choice but despair. As long as people exist who have no choices, and as long as people exist who rob them of choice, I as a human am demeaned.

Another eloquent, passionate post. The number you quoted are truly tragic!

But as much as I am against globalization, I don't think you can throw the entire blame on the multinationals...India's government consistently rates as the most corrupt in Asia! And I have not heard of any one individual outside India, building himself a billion dollar home (Mukesh Ambani, India's richest man).

The first step in India's quest for freedom should be some house cleaning, don't you agree?

Valentine's hugs to you, Rauf!

True VISHESH, we have never been free. Our education system is designed to be good obedient slaves. Thomas Babington Macaulay is the man behind our system. Indians make very good slaves. A person may be rich or elite, but the poverty in his minds cannot be removed, slavery in the minds of people cannot be removed. And we think anything foreign is better than what we have. We will be in deep trouble when the software bubble bursts. We will go back to agriculture based economy.

rauf said...

Dear Friend JOANN, We have too much of freedom here in India, so much that we do not know what freedom is. We are not aware where freedom begins and where it ends.

Freedom without responsibility is a curse.

Happy Valentines Day to you too JOANN.

RUTH, one farmer committed suicide in the hope of being reborn as a cow in England. He died believing it. They accept not having freedom or not having choices as religion. They obey what masters say hoping that for for being good, for religiously leading a life of slavery, a life of no choices, he will be reborn in a higher cast. The chap who came up with the theory of Karma was a genius. We have slaves who never protest. They believe slavery is a virtue. Same in Christianity and Islam too.
Serve your master you serve God.
He believes in a better life in paradise.

We had corruption right from day one Izzidee, but the farmers were not committing suicides then. Cleaning the house is only a dream Izzidee.

It is so refreshing to see a new post from you, even if it is about suicide and globalization. The expression of your passion and love is the fruit of a garden nurtured with GMs and pesticides. You have traveled so extensively and have seen so much beauty, and here you are, thanks to globalization, sharing it with me, who is thousands of miles from you. The richness of this experience is bittersweet considering the circumstances under which it is occurring, but I wouldn't trade it for anything. This moment is all there is, truly, and that is why your farmer friends are smiling. That is why Westerners journey to India in search of God, because present minded thinking is nearly extinct here. Your post brings me deeply into a moment that I would like to experience, walking down a dirt road to pass a boy with his cows crossing a river with a lunchbox in his hand, and a drowning smile. If I could get over the dysentery, I would climb right into that river with him. I am reading a lovely book called EAT PRAY LOVE. From what I read this morning, "In our real lives, we are constantly hopping around to adjust ourselves around discomfort- physical, emotional and psychological- in order to evade the reality of grief and nuisance. Vipassana meditation teaches that grief and nuisance are ineveitable in this life, but if you can plant yourself in stillness long enough, you will, in time, experience the truth that everything (both uncomfortable and lovely) does eventually pass. 'The world is afflicted with death and decay, therefore the wise do not grieve, knowing the terms of the world,' says an old Buddhist teaching. In other words: Get used to it." But, if we just get used to it, then multinationals have more freedom to exploit, so this is quite a riddle.

Sorry, but I have to laugh at the Native Texan out loud. I wouldn't consider Texan mentality to be on the cutting edge of consciousness, any more than I would American mentality. It's actually quite ironic, though, because in the book I stated earlier, EAT PRAY LOVE, one of the most enlightened characters happens to be Texan. Oh, well, go eat a rack of BBQ ribs; you'll forget all about your uncomfortable experience of hearing someone else's point of view.

SWEDEHART, i feel so miserable that i can't do anything about it. All i can do is visit them spend some happy moments by showing them the pictures on the
camera screen, they get pretty excited. This time it was a place called KokkraBellur a remote village in Karnataka, quite a bumpy ride on a dirt road. An old lady was frying 'Mirchi Vada' (Chilies dipped in flour and fried) Made my friends sit on the floor and eat, we had tea with the farmers at the end of a very tiring day for them.
They are untouchables and not respected by the society, the multinationals are not responsible for the unjust and cruel caste system in India. i pay them respect by removing my shoes before entering their houses, sit on the floor and eat in their
vessels, drink water or tea in their cups and tumblers. They are thrilled always. they don't ask for money or possessions, they just want to be respected by the
society. My friend Rajkumar did his best to persuade the old lady who gave us hot yummy 'mirchi vada' and tea to accept little extra money for her help, but she
politely refused to accept.

The boy crossing the river with lunch box over is head was actually singing a Telugu film song, this was in Andhra. He nearly dropped his lunch box in the water waving at me posing for the camera.

You must be pretty excited about the new experiences coming your way Swedehart. I wish you all the best.

Your photo's say it all. You live in a beautiful country with some incredible people - I have Asian friends who are over here for a 'better life' and, financially at least, maybe have a better life but why have did they have to leave such a beautiful country full of people like you to obtain it?

So many natural resources squandered by governments and multi nationals. So much greed.

I don't know about a riot in my little town, maybe we should organise one around the world eh?

All those wasted lives. All those lost smiles - and you know what, when an Asian smiles their entire faces light up. Even in a dump like Britain.

I want to change the world and don't know how.

Lotsa hugs mate. Stay strong.

And we don't even get good choices for candidates although we all know the highest office here really is just a chess piece and our president now is a buffoon and who knows what the next one will be.

This post makes me very sad - it is always sad to see people losing their homes, their lives, their families - to corporate greed.

Many of us knew, back even BEFORE 2000, that another Bush in the white house would be a terrible thing - few listened to us.

Nativtxanj epitomizes the utter distain most of the "conservatives" feel toward anyone anywhere in the world (including the US) not born white and wealthy here in the US.

It seems, however, that once the truly evil get their way, they become complaicent - like the Chinese emperors, the French Aristocracy, the Russian Czars, or Cecescue in Romania - and eventually the populace, even though inadequately armed and disproportionately weak - find the courage to destroy and overthrow these despotic maniacs. India rose up in arms once before and drove out the Superpower, Britain.

Dear Rauf, what beautiful photos you show in support of this passionate post.

Globalization as a most dangerous thing, I can only agree with that. I have strong concerns about what multinational corporations want to make of this world.

But I have mixed feelings about what India was before globalization.

A country where women and untouchables are not counted because they "do not exist" (in your own words), that's not caused by globalization, that's caused by your ancient traditions. Are they so valuable that they shouldn't change?

We should all attempt to make globalization a chance to make this world a better place for all.

Belated HAPPY VALENTINES my dear fried!

Long time no see... :)

Amazing pics - there isn't much I can add to your words, other than I will forward your site link to many on my email list and post a link (after snaching a pic - donno which 'coz they are all fabulous)
on my newly/again! renamed TERRA LOGICS blog... I am sure you'll catch the drift, so apropos to all that happens around uson this planet of ours

Sad, indeed what we witness and being slowly being forced to become acustomed to...

I will tell you that here, in a "regular" supermarket, there is probably only 20 % of FOOD that most of - unless labeled "organic" is most likely GM, the other 80% are "edibles" full of "chemical sutff" that are passed as food.
I am now making it a regular part of my visit to comment on the lack of "real food" and on the overwhelming amount of non-esential make-believe-edibles...

Even baby formula has chemicals and GM's - so, babys/children already grow up most likely inmune or (?) ill as some illnesses have escalated to completely unacceptable numbers...

My goodness - and I said all I was doing was ? :) (as above, he-he-he Oh, well you know me)

I as I writing to you, the newsman on the TV behind me is stating that the latest study urges our governmet to close the salmon farms as it is highly likely that the entire salmon population is going to be obliterated from our system..... is the sea lice in the salmon farms around the islands that attacks and eats up the wild salmon as they are transiting by - another thing we "oh-wise-home-sapiens" felt the need to improve upon!

Lots of love and hugs
:)

FOUR DINNERS, sorry for the delay in responding.

Britain is not a dump. Unfortuntely wrong policies adopted by your government has made you a minority in your own country.

i agree with you, its the greed which ruins the life of people. It ruins the country in the end. Cheap labour bring their own problems and life style with them and they never change. After 2nd world war Britain France and Germany wanted to bring in cheap labour. Now things have gone out of hand. The decisions of the government are influenced by the greedy business people. Now you are suffering for the sins committed by your government. its greed of business people which made them leave the shores of England and invade and occupy other countries. US is doing the same. Now they can invade and occupy a country within half an hour. Just imagine the greedy guys on sail ships taking months to reach and occupy other lands make slaves out of the natives. Slave trade was the worst of all the sins. Slavery was free labour. More money. Now there is evolution in slavery. Masters remain the same. Conditions of the slavery has changed. they are fed well now.
Create a situation where people gladly and willingly become slaves.
they are dying to become slaves.
How clever! This is business FOUR DINNERS.

SANDY, 365 days of sunshine, rich in natural resources, India has been a land of milk and honey. Right from Aryans, Alexander to the British, they all invaded India and decided to stay here.

What US is doing now has already been done by the other European countries in the past. India has been a play ground of greed in the past. This is nothing new for us. All for business, to make money to get richer. Its the natives who suffer and die.

rauf said...

SEWMOUSE, people have the right to express their opinion in the blogs. i welcome all.

Bush or no Bush, the idea is same who ever comes to power. Its the businessmen who bring such people to power to help them get richer. This is nothing new. People suffer. Now its more brutal. All survived earlier. Today its useful who are allowed to survive. Others simply perish. This will get worse in the future. The NEW WORL ORDER which father Bush promoted, the son Bush is just following it.
Earlier in the history they invaded countries to push religion or some philosophy but the main reason was always plunder and loot or profit. Today plunder and loot IS the philosophy.

Yes i agree with you Sewmouse, people would rise to fight. Our own government has become so corrupt that they will help the evil to get more powerful and get richer. The poor farmers and landless farmhands will take their own lives. This is well planned murder.

NATHALIE, quite right, the same globalisation can be made to make this world a happy place to live. Little change in philosophy and attitude is needed. The truth is that there is a parallel globalisation coming from the US and Europe who are sincerely doing their best to help remove poverty and helping the developing countries. Individuals are more and more kind and compassionate and are willing to help the poor and the unfortunate.

On one side there is a drive to remove poverty and on the otherside more poverty is created by globalisation.

Nathalie, i have written a lot about th evil caste system and untouchability in earlier post. This social evil has been prevailing in India for thousands of years. It is a very smart system, very clever. Rich get free bonded labour who can never protest. Having low esteem is a religion here. Man feeling inferior is considered religious. This unfortunate man leads an undignified life religiously in the hope of being reborn in a higher caste. Theory of Karma is very smart and clever. Globalisation has nothing to do with the theory of Karma. Now they will get bright ideas. They will make globalisation a religion.
'Globalised Karma'.
Master and slaves. Slavery accepted as religion, they will never protest.

Hope you are doing fine Nathalie, please enjoy your weekend, hope the weather is good for your imaginative photography.

rauf said...

oh sweet ALICIA, thank you so much for forwarding my blog. and thanks for the greetings. Valentine has invaded india too. lot of commercialisation TV and newspaper ads, billboards. there have been protests by some section against the 'import of Foreign culture' These people are not protesting against globalisation, nor they are protesting against the greedy multinationals. They are not aware of what they are eating. They allow their lands to be poisoned by pesticides. most of the pesticides are marketed by the multinationals. Seeds are marketed by them too. Now the farmer HAS TO depend on these multinationals as the seeds are not regenerated and everytime they have to buy the seeds from these greedy multinationals. The farmers have become slaves. Bonded labour was already in existence in India long before globlisation entered. Now its gone worse resulting in mass suicides.

Now they will come up with the idea of marketing and selling mother's milk also. The day is not fae when the poor mothers will be forced to sell their breast milk.
they will stop at nothing when it comes to making money and getting richer. Indian politicians including those who protested against Valentine'sday are so corrupt that they willingly play into the hands of these greedy multinationals. Driven by poverty, like cows, young mother's will be pushed in farms, they would be treated and fed milked like cows. This will happen Alicia. Then we will know how cruel milking of cows is, the milk that is meant for the calf is stolen from the mother cow. This is more cruel than slaughter. Coming years will see that mother's milk also is genetically modified. Young mothers will be put in cages in giant laboratories.
Hope i don't live to see that day.
lots of love and Hugs Alicia.

One of the latest controversies is the "womb" rental of Indian women - offered to American women to carry their child as a surrogate.

Not much to say on this topic - since a very young age I believed that as long as there is one child left n an orphanage ...
but, poverty sometimes does not give many choices nor morals.

I could write an entire book on GM in NA - they have completely obliterated many varieties of grains - even contaminating those original kernels fromt he Mayan times that have been protected in Mexico... all of this has more to do with greed than with hunger, and to top it off now we are clear cutting further plant crops that produced ethinol to run our big cars.

Oh... must run
Love and Hugs, the dishes are waiting - how mundane!
Do take care of yourself!

I just found out about a guy in Oakland, California (near San Francisco and one of the most troubled urban areas with poverty and young people in trouble) named Van Jones (http://www.grist.org/news/maindish/2007/03/20/vanjones/) who is trying to address two issues: the bad conditions in US urban areas and the need for a healthier planet. Low income people have more pressing concerns than greenhouse gases, but he wants to get them involved with the effort to make the planet healthier by creating "green jobs" for low income workers. I think in the US these things can happen and change fairly quickly once someone like Jones wakes us up and communities get behind it. He's trying to show how "eco-elites" have money for hybrid cars and solar panels, but low income people can't afford those and organic food. Until we get the low income population involved in efforts against global warming through green jobs, much of the population won't be helping that effort.

But what about the low castes of India? How does a 3500-year-old caste system begin to change, especially when those of the lower castes accept and embrace their station in life? Who will be their advocate, get legislation passed to protect them and include them in efforts that are good for the environment AND them? Do you have any hope that things can or will change, rauf?

Rauf, it's a bit like that over here in England too. Farmers are having to sell their land, and there is a high suicide rate amongst them too. All the large supermarkets are taking over. We are fighting Tesco in my village because we don't want them here taking all our little shops away.

When I read your blog Rauf it made me very ashamed to be from the West.

My son and his girlfriend are travelling to Delhi on Monday. They are starting an adventure. They have their backpacks and will be travelling around the world. After Delhi, they are going to Nepal for a while.

Love, hugs to you, Lorenzo.

In regards to getting the people in the caste system to realize their true value and right to the pursuit of happiness as everyone else, I think we should create another reality TV show about it! Kind of like the Biggest Loser, they would be coached and support each other in attaining their goals. It would bring attention to the situation. All the procedes could go toward purchasing equipment for organic farmers:D

I think I am getting closer to being ready for India. I know that it will transform my life, and I will definitely suffer a transformation. I want to make sure that I am able to embrace it completely, and I'd also like to have something to offer.

I am saddened by the suffering of your small farmers and the hopelessness they feel. One day soon Ruth and I will visit you and see first hand India and her greatness and her troubles. Keep waving the flag for those who have no voice!

Such a great post and its the poor who suffer the most. Elite remains or grow better and make the poor be poor. How sad?

I enjoyed your pictures all straight from heart.

Dearest ALICIA, pverty stricken women here in India are prepared to do anything as the survival has become exceedingly difficult for them pushing them tosuicide, the entire family commits suicide. Some sell their children. One woman sold her newly born child for just 20 rupees, that is 50 cents.

the extremes are growing apart. Middle class caught in between is suffering aswell. Survival, earning a living is losing dignity. There used to be an element of pride, kindness in making money. Now it has become heartless.
Hope you are doing fine Alicia

RUTH, yes i saw the site. Its a good idea. Our government claims to be on the side of the poor and come up with schemes to help them, most of them remain on paper. There was a good move in the recently announced budget for next year where the bank loans given to the farmers have been waived off. But most of the farmers pledge their lands with loan sharks as banks tke time and don't give loans easily. Bank loans are available only to the rich farmers who actually don't need any loan. so the loan waiver actually benifits the rich farmer.
The banks make the farmers run around, To avoid the delay, paperwork and other hassles of a bank loan, poor farmers seek loans from loan sharks and ultimately lose their lands when they are unable to pay back. worst hit are the farmhands. It will be a great idea to involve the jobless farmhands in a scheme mentioned in the site.

The government came up with a scheme of making the big industries take care of tribal villages. there was some initial interest but things went back to square one.

oh dear LORENZO, the real issue here is poor and the rich. Its the same in the west too. The poor and the middle class have no peace of mind. These guys have realised that racism doesn't make them rich. So you need not be ashamed of being a westerner, all are equally affected by globalisation. Only the rich get richer in east or west. There have been job losses in the western countries too. The not so rich have been losing property and lands everywhere. It has come down to useful or useless, white or black.

Hope you are doing fine Lorenzo. Any news from your son and his friend from India ? hope they get back home with pleasant memories.

love and Hugs Lorenzo

SWEDEHART, India would disappoint you if you visit with high expectations. You would be fine if you avoid big chaotic cities. You would see western culture everywhere.
What is Indian about India ?
i don't know. perhaps its willingness to adjust to any situation is very Indian. i think i wrote about it in some post.

Only evolution of human mind would see the caste system go Swedehart.
We have not evolved THAT high yet, this is going to take hundreds of years. By then globalisation would have wiped out the entire lower caste people and the poor of middle class. That is a very effective clean up.

No country is great or beautiful Don, its the people who bring greatness and beauty. Welcome to Daylight Again Don. Every country has its beauty and its problems, Bad governments, naturl and man made disasters, rich and poor, injustice. Its hard to imagine that there are very rich people in Ethopia. They had a king as well.
I am eargerly waiting for your visit Don, with Ruth Lesley and Peter. You would be shocked to see the number of cars on the roads.

SEHR, yes new post is due, in India you don't look for a subject to write, just open your window there you have it. There is so much to write, everywhere you turn you have a subject. i love my country and i love the people. i am hurt by injustice Sehr and feel miserable that i can't do anything about it. Next post is about my pleasant experience, and not a depressing one.

LASIATE, Thank you for your visit and comment. i apologise for late response
Welcome to Daylight Again.

It is true that India has been suffering from many social evils for thousands of years, the misery of caste system or untouchability is one of them. i have been writing about it ever since i started blogging.

But here in this post, i am discussing the mass suicides of the farmers which is happening only from past six to eight years of globalisation. There may be many reasons for it, but the primary reason is globalisation imposed on India by the US administration to enable MNC's to have a grip on India and other developing nations and to make the MNC's get richer. This is not the first invasion in India's turbulant history. India is bestowed with natural wealth and 365 days of sunshine and abundance of water, which is dwindling now. India perhaps is the only country in the world which has been repeatedly invaded by the European countries and now by the US indirectly.

I am afraid this is the best i could do to translate my response in to French. Thanks to google translator.

Merci de votre visite et de les commenter. I m'excuser pour réponse tardive

Thank you RUTH

There are some problems with this festival.
You know how colourful this Holi festival is, though not celeberated in the south. Its primarily a North Indian festival. There is a lot of joy and fun and a lot of misbehaving as well, things go out of hand and a great deal of eve teasing involved, they often end up in street brawls. The other problem is, the colours they throw at each other are made of cheap chemicals harmful to the eyes and the skin.

Hi PHOTOMOM, welcome to Daylight again.
I really wish what you say is true. But history speaks otherwise.
What i write is based on historical facts. i have repeated in my various posts that we have a majority of good in this world, but this majority of good is not able to contain evil done by so few. You can see what is happening in the world now. The majority is against the war, but still the war and atocities are happening.

Thank you so much PHOTOMOM for your visit and the comment, i would join you in hoping and believing that the good would prevail over evil in the future.
